Summer is the time to clean up your act when it comes to your skin and health regime, so we're bringing you our top 5 tips in our Natural Summer Skin and Health Care Guide!
Eat fresh (organic) fruit and vegetables. Seasonal produce really comes into its own here. The list is endless and with flavours exploding (especially if they’re organic which we firmly believes tastes better and has more nutrients) this really is the time to enjoy the best nature has to offer. Take some gentle exercise. You do not have to pound the pavements to feel better. Research shows people who walk for just half an hour a day have better sleep, are less prone to depression and anxiety and you save money on petrol too.
Get a group of friends together and walk round the park or try a yoga or pilates class. If you get really confident you could try a BHF walking challenge - and we all know that when we feel better we look better!
Get enough sleep! Light nights and even lighter mornings mean those who don’t get enough rest really struggle through the summer. Your skin and general well-being will reap the benefits if you do try and get your full quota of sleep per night.
